The return of the feared boys' club.😁 Now that is enough to put the fear in many forum members.😁Let the click counting begin. 3 within 30 odd mins so far today. View attachment 1827
I agree. But tomorrow looks like being head explosion day. Can't wait.Who gives a crap what non tigers fans think , I am willing to see how this unfolds, my 1st concern will be can he get us 2-3 top class players before next season if that happens then I think we will be on track . For god sake give it a go before u load crap 💩 on it
MadgeSo if Sheens moves to head coach, who takes his current position up?
It's a tough one here, if we match the game plan to the skill sets then we'll do 5 half assed hitups and then a poor kick. We have the poorest squad we've ever had, very limited players. We don't have a squad capable of playing attacking ad lib footy.Flanagan reviewed the skills of his playing group and implemented a playing style which matched the skillsets of his players. This is the opposite to Maguire who has had a one style fits all approach ie his style.
I'm looking forward to Sheens' game plans. No doubt they will very different to those of Maguire, better matched to the skillsets of our players.
We are paying him he might as well do something.Madge
Now you are kidding - He's a forward that's as meek as a baby cat...The sad thing is Seyfarth could join the Sharks and he'd be a good forward in a season. Let that resonate for a while.

he is no loss , a weak forwardYou reckon? I was a fan of his coming through, he’s big, red hair, and shows some passion; what’s not to like.
But he is struggling to make a dent this year.
It’s possible that Sheens will be head coach in name only, same responsibilities, with reduced number of tasks? This would put Noddy into more of a PA role.So if Sheens moves to head coach, who takes his current position up?
That is your opinion which I don't share. No player in the NRL is "meek as a baby cat". That's a poor comment to make. Now you are kidding - He's a forward that's as meek as a baby cat...
He could teach consistency, Ball playing and plenty of other things....
Fundamental of a forward is to run with impact, He has zero - Much like speed, If you don't have it - You don't have it.
I don't believe they will be the major assistants but that is up to the club. That is just my view but I have no issue if they are appointed. They are tow of the best players we have produced. You didn't answer my question....
You said you don't think they will (Or should) Be the assistant coaches.
Genuinely, What are your thoughts when they are?
Based on what ? By my calculation it’s more like 20% . I actually have no idea I’m just firing off bull crap statistics .His recent claim is that he has increased the spend on football department by 60%. Ok but what has he done to ensure that money is well spent? By my calculation we are wasting 160% of that money.
This is where Sheens' experience and tactical nous comes into consideration. We all know who put together this squad but I remain optimistic that there will be improvement. It's a tough one here, if we match the game plan to the skill sets then we'll do 5 half assed hitups and then a poor kick. If either is deemed as taking over after Sheens 2 years as coach, I think they would definitely have some say in the longer term deals in particular.Does anyone think Robbie and Marshall will be involved recruiting new players to the club .
