Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Sick of former Penrith players aye...

Edwards, however... he stands out from the rest of those gallivanting show ponies. Strikes me as a real worker. I remember early days, in grade- he was woeful. Really worked on his game to become elite.

And with Suni, some ones gotta make way eventually.

Yeah mate, Agreed....
He'd have a game of running 300m one week - And dropping 12 bombs the next.
I don't know he'd do here what he's doing there, But he also may well do more.

Either way - He'd certainly be doing more than what we got.

Now that the coaching stuff is sorted (and Benji has pulling power?) what's stopping us from making a big play at fellow Kiwi Joey Manu?

Easts are stacked in all the key positions and he would look good in the number 1 jersey for us. I like Laurie but Manu is being wasted at centre for the Roosters.

I agree with the suggestions of filling the roster with a couple of experienced players such as Frizell and Klemmer. Then adding others like the Sipley types (100+ games) and aiming for Pele or Katoa.

Now you're talking....
I love were ur coming from but we are not getting rooooters players who they want to keep , u can offer them $100,000 more per season and they will re-sign them on $600,000 , but when they retire , u know what comes with a thank u a BIG BROWN bag full of green notes

You think..... I would suggest the problem is more so that we're not trying.
To be fair, With the issues they have coming up squeezing all that talent into their backline
- We should bring Tedesco home.

We'd entertain it - I believe they would - And I believe he would....
He's done it all, But leave a legacy - He won't leave one there....
He'll never be considered above Mini - EVER!!

If he were to retire here, It would be Hodgo who....

Wonder if Eli Katoa from the Warriors is an achievable signing. I believe he was signed long term and played well last year, but isn’t getting many games this year.
Yep i've been thinking the same thing. Could be a Papali'i type signing. Young highly rated player falls down the pecking order and needs a fresh start to rekindle his fire. Wouldn't cost too much and would give us some depth in the back row if Blore needs easing in.
