Wests Tigers Coaches

I found Sheens comment about how well the club is financially now compared to when he took over in 2003 interesting. Much better off with the cap and financially better off as a club that they are now pouring lots of money into pathways yet still made the comment that they can’t compete with other clubs third party deals in signing the big stars.
I havent heard the club concede that before. Seems to be more honesty coming out lately.

Tallis hasn’t much time for most coaches. I’ve been to a couple of events with Tallis involved as a guest speaker and he also has little time for Wayne Bennett either.
I was arguing the point rather than the man. Just wondering if what he said is true

Panthers didn't work out too well for him. Got good after he left.
In fairness to Gould I am pretty sure he lay the groundwork for that Panthers revival. There are articles talking about how the football club was nearly broke when Gould came in, and he had to help reorganise everything and focus on pathways because they had no money.

Phil Gould is arrogant and often smug, but the bloke has huge rugby league currency and is a proven winner at basically every level - player, coach, rep coach, commentator, administrator. I wouldn't want to go up against him inside the NRL.

Horseshit - they were top 4 when they sacked Cleary…
Didn’t work out to well you say?
We’re all here talking about re-creating their junior pathways - stealing their players and or stealing their coaches…

All grades are on top of the ladder - that didn’t just all happen in the last 2.5 years…
Which part of what he did there didn’t work out well?

Typical of something here - if you don’t like someone, that makes them automatically shit at their job.

I’d swap our entire front office twice to have Gould here…

I think the plan is put benji in charge of recruitment especially evaluating who is value for money and who isn't
Benji to use his relationship to get Moses back
Sheens to meet Gus see what swaps can be done .The dogs want Jacko and will give us ???
Is this a masterplan to reunite Brooks and Moses?
This is what's on the net from fox league
Not sure where all this is going ?
Ciraldo maybe going to dogs $1.1 mill per season

Yep I hate him just like I hate Billy Slater.
There is a reason why, they are good.

Fact is they become a top team after he left.

How did Warriors go?

He's no messiah

He was at the warriors for a few months in junior pathways before covid - anything he did there (if he’d had time) wouldn’t be seen for years at the top level.

Bang on about him all you like - he’s been fully employed in the game for a very long time - for good reason…
he’s no mug.

What he’s overseen at Penrith won’t be rivalled for 20 years…
And you’re wrong about them getting good “after he left” the junior teams there have been on top for years - they just got through to NRL and got experience required as he left….

And are now set for how long?
