He was really good those first few years, one of the few players we got the best of and let go. See ya Shaz. The game has passed him by

Thanks mate, don't get to see to much of the young guys coming through, I wish they would go back to the days where you went to the games and could watch all 3 grades, because at a time like this where were not travelling to well at least we could see who was coming through and have some hope and see how they're developing in the lower grades over time.
I may have missed it but who were the spine players Sheens identified for 3 years time. Da Silva was one I presume but what about the rest?
Nothing spectacular we seem to get a bit over excited about young ones , remember they are playing 17 year olds not men , Simpkin and Liddle were both outstanding coming through the grades , its a different story against hardened Nrl players... hard to understand Sheens excitement about a few 17 year olds .Go to about 1:25 to watch the highlights of the Magpies Semi-Final. Da Silva works a very short blind side to set up a crucial try in the last 10 minutes of regular time. He then scores the match winner in extra time. Couple of clutch plays. The number 12 Galvin also looks fantastic in this game (as he does in most of the games too).NSWRL TV Highlights | Harold Matthews Cup Semi-finals

I totally agree with you on the 3 grades in one day...I got to the last Campbelltown ones vs Manly and saw Flegg, Cup and NRL...it should happen more regularly!
That’s why your commenting on a forum and he’s being spoken about as top 5 coach of all time . That’s not an insult to you by the way . Just a comment on The obvious. say what you will about Tim as the coach , but Tim as a talent identifier has never at any point been in question .Nothing spectacular we seem to get a bit over excited about young ones , remember they are playing 17 year olds not men , Simpkin and Liddle were both outstanding coming through the grades , its a different story against hardened Nrl players... hard to understand Sheens excitement about a few 17 year olds .
Tallyn Da Silva....was a part of the Wests Harold Matthews undefeated team. Very highly rated.

Like it or not, the young ones are being identified as the way forward for us and the club is pouring everything into the Pathways systems. Not all will make it to the NRL , as you said they need to prove it against hardened NRL players. Hopefully we get a few real quality ones come through and kick on and then the club add the right experienced players to complement them.Nothing spectacular we seem to get a bit over excited about young ones , remember they are playing 17 year olds not men , Simpkin and Liddle were both outstanding coming through the grades , its a different story against hardened Nrl players... hard to understand Sheens excitement about a few 17 year olds .
You can talk to who ever you like, you can't make an offer until November 1How come no one has mentioned Marshall’s blatant anti tampering in approaching players before November 1?
id give them toa or asu tbhNews Corp understands Storm officials have also held talks with the Tigers over whether they would consider lending Melbourne any outside back for the remainder of the season – Storm coach Craig Bellamy and Tigers head of football Tim Sheens have a relationship dating back more than 30 years to their time together in Canberra.
Winger Ken Maumalo is believed to be of interest to the Storm, although their priority remains the electrifying Walsh, with discussions around Campbell proving fruitless at this stage.
I’d be happy for that to happen even take nofo might help him develop his defenceNews Corp understands Storm officials have also held talks with the Tigers over whether they would consider lending Melbourne any outside back for the remainder of the season – Storm coach Craig Bellamy and Tigers head of football Tim Sheens have a relationship dating back more than 30 years to their time together in Canberra.

I would just give them those 2, don't worry about sending them back eitherid give them toa or asu tbh
would be great experience
Nof could do with a stint away from WT
Nof can play all right and it would be good to see how he went in the Storm system under Bellyache. I like the Storm-Tigers connection. Worked well for us with Harry Grant joining us on loan last year and may be good for us in future if we need to borrow a player or two.Nof could do with a stint away from WT
