The second on the clock was most likely correct. The TV clock and the official clock are not the same, if the person in the TV booth doesn't press the stop button quick enough it can be off. It happens all the time and is corrected when the mistake is noticed.

The rest was the issue, no stoppage for a challenge to be made, and incorrect call of a penalt.

As I mentioned before the FoxSports clock is not the official clock. Cannot use it as an accurate source.

On Fox. Clock was stopped at 1.22 when the try was scored.
If we had 80s to take the kick. Clock would stop with 2 seconds left. Should have started again once the ball is kicked.

The Fox clock doesn't ad up. Which as you said can't be used officially.

90 seconds are allowed of run time for each kick for goal. The clock was at 73 seconds when Doueihi took the kick, and it eventually ran out of time before having a second added to it afterwards. Not suspicious at all lol

Learn how things work mate. The facts are the facts. The NRL said 1 second then it was 1 second. FoxSports, or Channel 9 are not the official timekeepers and just have some random pressing stop on the broadcast. Even natural reaction time can explain the missed second on the clock, it happens multiple times a week, people just usually don't notice it as it isn't at such a pivotal moment. Usually they fix it during the kick off and delay the clock restart, or quickly tweak it between the conversion and the kickoff.

Don't forget the manner in which the Cowboys "retained" their challenge from earlier on in the game. Klein was going to uphold the original onfield call which was in our favour, but stopped mid sentence after hearing the crowd's reaction and decided to go for the easy "lack of evidence" call and gave the Cowboys their challenge back

he NRL has become simply entertainment. It is no longer a sporting contest nor should it be viewed as that. The betting industry has ensured that. Lower your expectations, this is the NRL. Several of my friends, past NRL aficionados, refuse to watch anymore.
It was an entertaining game.
