Lol someone did threaten to rip someone’s head off . I have major issues with a few on here , but punching on over it , and threatening death is a bit extreme .
But hey we were all fired up . I would have ripped Kleins face off this afternoon if I was in the same room as him .
Gunner chose a bad time to bust out the LOL tigers cliche . Even though I don’t think he meant it in spite .

What the hell was he challenging though ? There was no ruling to challenge . If 10 seconds was still left after the tackle it would have been a play the ball and game on .
That’s some gymnastics if I’ve ever seen it .

Absolutely.. Absolutely, even if their was a disparity with the game and ref clock? Take the tackle, blow full time surely...no intervention from the bunker?!

It seems every year there is a game that we lose in controversial manner, it seems the NRL couldn't give 2 hoots about the tigers even though we are one of the top teams with paying members, and one of the highest ratings when we play

If Klein had half a brain he would have realised that the referral by Townsend was not permissable and rule "no penalty" to hose down the mistake that had been made. Instead he amplifies the mistake by ruling a very dubious escort penalty to change the outcome of a match.

These are things you state are out of our players control. Goal kicking wasn't good enough below 50% today. 70-80% is NRL standard.

I know what annesley will say tomorrow, referee and bunker got it wrong, it was fulltime, tiger's should've won, apologies to the tigers, move on next question.
Tiger's have never won the wooden spoon and the wheels are in motion to make it happen.

@Kaito shared an NRL spokespersons comment. Took them all of 5 seconds to shut it down.

I'm honestly still in shock as Feldt's milking was so obvious. Is there no code of conduct for unsportsmanlike behaviour or unethical conduct from the bloody bunker.
It just doesn't sit right with me that it (awarding them the penalty) was "within the rules".
It doesn't seem honest or fair to me.

Yeah but we scored them all in the corners.

Most kickers don't kick 80% from the sideline. That stat includes a bunch in front and slightly to the side.
 
I’m annoyed by this but know the NRL are just going to explain everything away.

1. The ref made no call at all so a challenge isn’t allowed according to their own rules. However now they are saying you can challenge the final play of the game. Any close game from now on is going to have a challenge on the final play in the hope they find something.

2. The NRL are claiming a whistle was blown but that’s not full time. That’s not how the game works. The ref hears the siren and blows a whistle for the end of the game. There is nothing else they need to do. They are seriously making up rules now.

Can’t wait to hear the rest of the spin in the morning.

This decision is being questioned by almost every fan and media personality in the game. Surely they have to open their eyes at some point and try and fix this ridiculousness.
