The guy gets bagged but his heart is 100% in the job, bagged for a different approach . Now that a figure head like Sheens is there, all their rolls are more free and specific to do what they were actually paid for. What amazes me is how quickly our club is transforming. I like the new approach. All my respect to all especially the barber.

I'm worried about 2 things
-our roster is really weak
- we seem to be signing no one
Hope its not because none of the top class potential recruits are interested in coming here ( here defined as Concord, Leichardt, Campbelltown and Comm Bank)
I hope pending recruits don't read too much on the WTF as all the bitter acid comments about players would be a turn off

Just catching up on chatter. Not expecting anything solid as I believe nothing much will be revealed until past November 1 when things might hit up a bit.
In the meantime , with no disrespect intended, may I suggest some good recruitment retention education may be gained if you spend couple of hours of your life to watch (or as in my case re-watch) baseball movie Moneyball.
And think about similarities of our problem to that of A‘s and their recruitment approach for a team in deep shit, like we are.
No pressure …. just a friendly suggestion.

We have a tick over 20000 members. For ease of maths, if we call it 30000, each would need to contribute $1000 to get to the goal. What do they get for their hard earned? Would need to be done as shares, so you could buy and sell your stake as you go.

Does anyone know if we are any closer to some signings,I would have thought that with the future coaches sorted out we may have something to announce. There was supposedly 2 prospects who were waiting to see who the new coach was going to be.

I think the Rabbitohs were less than 10M, but that was years ago. Tinkler had to put 20M in the bank as security for gaining the Knights, which was a good thing because he went broke. I think 20 would do, but not sure though.

Did Tinkler have to sell his stake ? I mean 20 is a lot of money but it's not other wordly. I suppose you also have to run the club after that point.
