Gildart to join Roosters

Wests Tigers centre Oliver Gildart will join the Sydney Roosters on loan for the remainder of the 2022 NRL season.
The English International will link up with the Roosters today and return to Wests Tigers for 2023 pre-season training.
Gildart injured his calf in May and has since been playing with the club’s NSW Cup team, Western Suburbs Magpies.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe says it’s a good opportunity for Gildart and the club.
“This works for Oliver, and it works for us as well. So strategically, it makes sense.
Oliver will return to us after this short loan and begin preparing for 2023.”
More cash in the bank.

The way things are going at Manly at the moment, I'd be inclined to start asking some polite questions around certain player's futures.
For '23? I don't think we must be chasing any mid-season ('22) transfers surely? It looks like we are looking at what we have at the club. Only way I could see us signing someone today is if it is the only way to get them for next year onwards.
