Noddy: 1 from 7 this year
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Beat Newcastle convincingly and I’ll believe we’ve improved.

More cash in the bank.Gildart to join Roosters
Wests Tigers centre Oliver Gildart will join the Sydney Roosters on loan for the remainder of the 2022 NRL season.
The English International will link up with the Roosters today and return to Wests Tigers for 2023 pre-season training.
Gildart injured his calf in May and has since been playing with the club’s NSW Cup team, Western Suburbs Magpies.
Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe says it’s a good opportunity for Gildart and the club.
“This works for Oliver, and it works for us as well. So strategically, it makes sense.
Oliver will return to us after this short loan and begin preparing for 2023.”
For '23? I don't think we must be chasing any mid-season ('22) transfers surely? It looks like we are looking at what we have at the club. Only way I could see us signing someone today is if it is the only way to get them for next year onwards. The way things are going at Manly at the moment, I'd be inclined to start asking some polite questions around certain player's futures.
We were too predictable, but not so with Hastings at lock playing both sides of the field. Whoever fills in this round needs to be doing exactly the same thing. When I eyed these 4 games off 2 months back, I was convinced that for and against would be -130 odd. Our attack and specifically our point scoring ability has risen sharply.
And they never go well when favourite's.The problem is the Tigers will start as favourites vs Newcastle.

Easy to read, just hard to believe, but when the top teams have one or two players unavailable, the hand wringing and carrying on reaches hysterical levels. That’s hard to read
