What is going on re Staines ? Have we offered him a deal ? Last I read( a while ago) he was d”staying at Penrith but I see his name keep popping up on WTF.
Is it wishful thinking or have we offered him a deal ? Is he waiting till the end of the season to let us know ?

I read somewhere that he had been given permission to negotiate and WTs were going to make an offer?

Our captain on fox in a round about way said papa has a right to backflip now that madge isn't coach, AD saying he would've liked to have gone to Storm for a loan but club said no, there was something else but cant remember.
Both players had a chance to sell the clubs good points but....fail

Yep, sounded like club has agreed to capitulate to papaliti, and let him go to the warriors if thats what he wants, Tamou was the one being interviewed on channel 9 tonight, but he did not seem to know what to say, the reporter seemed to be coaching him, and if our club wanted papaliti to say he would honor the contract, wouldn't you think maybe someone else could have done this press release.

I get it... but with how the backline is predicted to shape up for 2023, I can't see him fitting into the team.

Maumalo will be out for a while with his knee injury. Staines would walk straight into the starting team.

I do like the prospect of Kepaoa hitting a gap and setting up Staines.

He's a good english forward. I thought George Williams was a good half for the Raiders. Pity it ended in tears.

I've got a gut feeling everybody and it's not just because I've just devoured a plate full of smokey pork ribs and curley fries.
Sheens has been fairly quiet lately which means to me he is working hard in the background doing recruiting, talking to managers and players like Bateman, Roosters who are in cap trouble and the like.
He has resigned a couple of players already so it's not like he's been sitting on his hands.
I've got a gut feeling (woops this time it was the ribs...woah) that we will here some good news very soon 🤔
