You can dispute the decision in the Cowboys game and still accept the season was a disaster, they aren't mutually exclusive.

Nah, I think Api alone is worth a few extra wins compared to this year, he is key to turning our fortunes around IMO. Though having said that he'll probably get injured round 1 and be out for the season.

Our team next year will be weird.

If Pappiiaiiiaiaiai does well, we could see our forward pack actually be competitive.
Flip that we have Naden in the back and he seems to cross the line a fair bit at Center (till something personal happens).
The games we had vs Brisbane and Cowboys demonstrate that our side can actually be competitive. Our spine might actually be close to forming, with Api, Brooks, Doueihi and Laurie... Sure not the best spine but workable.

Not saying we make the 8. I am saying we won't be 17th with the Knights and Titans likely below us.

Gees I'm sorry and You have my apologies @Luke Brooks #1 Fan for naming Pawsandclaws as the President of the Luke Brooks Fan Club in a recent post.
As we know there can only be 1 President and You've been it for quite a while, so I guess P&C will have to bide his time, and being the gentleman I know he is I doubt he will try to turf you out of office in the foreseeable future.

No I said they will probably dispute the fact we may come last due to the Cowboys game.
I’m not convinced it will be accepted that the season was a disaster. I’m sure it will be glossed over like their positive Social media memes after a big loss.

Don’t worry peeps the only way is down with 17 teams next year
We will break more records including the first team in nrl history to finish 17th if things don’t dramatically change in the club

Issue is who we have to support Api and Papa.
We need grunt in the middle and to be able to defend for extended periods.

If Stefano and Blore can have an injury free run they will be like new signings for us also.

Pole we can’t bank on yet and Twal is a robust forward but just doesn’t punch the line.

Musgrove is a wasted roster spot.

Unless we get some additional support next year will be a struggle especially if Joe leaves as he hasn’t taken his player option up yet.
 
So why have they, in your opinion, done that ? Is it that they don’t care ( highly unlikely), completely stupid( possibly) or they looked closely at the various options and made their decision on that.
Lee may offend with his dress and manner, but he is a senior legal figure, owning a large law firm.
He’s not dumb , whether you agree with him or not.

I think running a law firm (particularly one based on settling compo cases) and running a NRL club are completely different things.

His judgment has been proven to be terrible on a number of occasions, and he can't keep his mouth shut
