We need to go to market and buy a package of players. No individual players will sign for our club.

He is our best half by miles. I think he plays at lock because Brooks and Doueihi are both runners that are best out wide and Hastings at lock allows them to play that way.

Maybe it works but I think we are just covering for our players flaws.

It is playing to their strengths which is good but if Brooks or Doueihi were good enough you'd play Hastings at 7.

I'd prefer a slow player who can actually play footy to some blokes who are faster and probably much better athletes but they can't play footy.

Not all of them but we need to change our perspective on some players.

Pole, Joe O, To'a, Laurie, Kepaoa, Naden are guys you can work with. I even think Seyfarth can be part of a decent squad.

Guys like Doueihi need to be assessed as stop gap measures until we get better players in key positions.

Twal, Hastings, Stefano, Blore, Brooks, Nofaluma, Talau, a fit Maumal - their is 8 to start with.

Doueihi will be ok if he has Brooks and Hastings with him. Having Papali'i' inside of him will help his defence. But the real issue is was his performance a reaction to not being allowed to play with the Storm?

I'm even prepared to forgive AD for that shit tonight because you can hide him a bit better at 5/8. Hastings at 13 and Brooks and AD as two 5/8's running off him works. Kepoa, Naden, Ken, maybe Tupou outside of that isn't too bad. And throw Klemmer and Lodge into the front row, we'll go alright.
