I get both sides of the argument. But no experienced coach wanted to coach us. Rookie coaches are knocking us back. That's the position 10 years of bad decisions get you. What we are doing now is what we should of done from 2013 or we should of signed a experienced coach to replace Sheens back then. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I rate Jack Gibson higher than Sheens. Achievements similar in the last 10 years

But he died 14 years ago, we are now talking about someone to coach our team, next year.

If we started next year with Api, Papa, Frizz and Fafita that wouldn't be a bad recruitment drive at all especially if we can keep Joe + extend Hastings.

Doubt we will get Frizz though, he is a player who would have a few options

Would we consider David Fifita? I know he broke out in raucous laughter when it was suggested “would he consider a return to the Tigers?” But the guy is as part of WST Tigers as anyone.

We should be greatfull the man has agreed to help our club out in its time of need When we could not find anyone to do the job, he offered to step in and help out, people should be thanking him for trying to help solve the problem.

AND BY THE WAY I AM 76, USED TO GO TO BIRCHGROVE OVAL. LONG LONG TIME AGO.

He might be recognised by YOU as the 2nd best coach behind Bennett....
His achievements pale in comparison to Bellamy...
and he isn't rated by anyone else really - He's done nothing for 10 years.

Bennett is the most successful - But not the Best.
Bennett has almost coached almost 900 games - With a 62.5% Win rate

I thought that the NRL have to ratify the contract making sure they are not over the cap.
I'm probably wrong or maybe they have already disclosed who is going to auditors and it hasn't been released.

Tyson Frizzle would 100% be a quality signing. The price matters, is he worth 1 million a season? nope. 400K and under, YES!
Unsure which Fifita, I have to assume Andrew. A low ball contract would be worthwhile, the sharks have better options. We don't. I am talking Min contract 120k stuff.

Yep, every off season our player churn is usually about 26% so releasing players isn’t exactly big news.

I am not sure of the difference between an “ interim coach” to a “real coach” ?

I hope Tims description of himself isn’t setting up another reason for excuses.

This is a big sales pitch directed at a club who are on the bottom of the heap and are desperate. Or it’s already been done and he is smoothing the road for a pending announcement.

Big call if we do it, use a limited roster place with a guy who will give you 15 mins a match. Be different if we were a quality outfit and just wanted some cream on the cake, sadly at present we don’t have any cake mix

If he can go 20 minutes I’d take him if cheap , you either start with him or finish with him , maybe 10 before the break then 15 at the end or something like this , if cheap it could work , at least he runs hard and straight and has no fear bends the line
