Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

These things come from somewhere. I doubt it came from Sheens but someone at the board or somewhere probably made a comment on it and Hooper ran with it.

Given Braith and Hooper work together, they would know whether it's true or not before posting the article.
Hmmm I wonder if Benji hasn't learnt the art of keeping stuff inhouse yet and told his mate Hooper "yeah we're going to make a play for Munster". Sheens today to Benji "can I see you in my office please son"!

It won't matter how good the offer is even an extra mil over the other clubs he still won't come here. I think it's a big gamble to make the offer for him to refuse and yet again make ourselves look bad and have the media breathing down our necks, not to mention Anasta is his manager and will not be recommending us in any shape or form. I think Ben Hunt is a more realistic and achievable get and the club should go after him instead.
Even if it is unrealistic why shouldn't we throw our hat in the ring? If not at least to apply cap pressure to other clubs, why should we make it easy for them.
It would be far more embarrassing not going after decent players because we fear rejection, that is just pathetic.

I'm usually quite optimistic and I would love for it to come through, but Braith takes every opportunity to bag the club after his stint with us. If he was to then talk his number 1 client into going to the Tigers, I would be shocked.
Exactly. I still can’t get my head around of how he can be a public commentator and a player manager at the same time.

are you new here?
Approaching 8 years now, seems like it's barely been 8 weeks for you

Not sure if your comment is referencing that you're purposely telling lies for a laugh in which I'd apologise for....

However if you're trying to feed lies in order for attention like our camp meeting with Munster especially the day of his game in Brisbane in which you got caught out on that's where my "troll" comment comes from - Sheens has come out and denied we've spoken to him as well or have interest, Braith probably using the Wests Tigers to get more money out of that Dolphins salary cap

Dolphins trying the whole Latrell interest trick to speed up Munster, has been countered with a Wests Tigers throwing there hat in the ring to speed up the Dolphins offering more.

Munster won't come even if it's true... shift the focus to both Liam Martin and Dylan Brown (big Benji fan btw)

Good response from Tim and yes, the inference is with a full strength squad and a couple of key new players, we can be competitive.
Now like everything , only time will tell.
We are miles off being competitive - and I don't believe for one second that Sheens believes any different. He's been quite open about the need to recruit.
Why he's speaking so strongly against that today is puzzling.
