6. Douhei
7. Brooks

11. Papalaii
12. Blore
13. Hastings
14. Brown
15. Pole

17. Ofahengaue
Still a bottom 6 side unfortunately. No idea why resigned Naden. But hopefully he changes my mind.

Hope Blore comes back strong. He's more of a lock to me though

Furner is regarded among the best assistant coaches in the game, having worked at the knights and bulldogs over the past two seasons.
And I have it on very reliable and trusted advice( someone who has known him for many years. and hung around with him in Canberra) that he can fight like a threshing machine so anyone who doesn’t put in will be taken round behind the sheds!
But then again, not exactly sure of the standard of Canberra street fighters .

you could argue it's already happened with Papali'i and Koroisau. another marquee name or two and the myth will be completely busted.

Those two signings have broken the myth. There won't be many if any better recruits into any team next year.

It's not about our recruitment being terrible. The story is more how poor the market is right now.

That is why I think development is the key.

Pangi- Jnr says hi...
LOL

while I don't expect anything of significance next year, we'll be a far improved side.

Dependent on injuries. Injuries killed us this year as well. If we get some luck with injuries & Sheens can somehow get the new attacking structure working I expect a much improved season.

To be fair though we should manage our expectations and we are a bottom 4 roster again.

he must be something when he survived fights with those slimy good-for-nothing politicians!

Fish was graded by the Balmain Tigers in 1974. He made his first grade debut in his side's 21−14 loss to the Cronulla Sharks at Leichhardt Oval in round 18 of the 1974 season. In his first few seasons at Balmain, the club struggled on the field and claimed the wooden spoon in 1974 after coming last. In 1976, Balmain narrowly missed out on finals qualification finishing the season in 6th position. Fish finished the season as the club's top try scorer with 10 tries.

In 1977, Balmain reached the finals series for the first time since their premiership win in 1969 after finishing the season in 4th position. Balmain would reach the semi final but were defeated by the Eastern Suburbs Roosters 26–2 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Fish also finished the 1977 season as the team's top try scorer with 13 tries. Fish was released by the Tigers at the end of the 1978 season, and subsequently never played first grade rugby league again. In total, Fish played 90 games, scored 30 tries, and kicked 4 goals.
Now there is a blast from the past. Note we are going to move all discussion about past players to a new Memories thread, starting soon.
Look forward to your input !

To be clear there is pretty much nothing available for 2023 , Dylan Brown Moses plus many available to offers for 2024 . All that is left for 2023 are those few unsigned or unwanted by their clubs for next year .
Regarding TPJ he's on $750k at the dogs and got dropped and for last round back on the bench .
However surely there must be some budding stars in Koe cup not our squad but what about top cup sides Newtown , Panthers ,Bears etc
Are we allowed to recruit from other teams feeder sides ? I don't know the answer . Also what about some emerging super stars in Qld cup
Seems to me Storm find new players from just about anywhere
What's the rules on this?

Tour game 91 against either Wigan/St Helens (??) when Sirro gets collared...bloke tries the same with Furner and lives to regret it...😊
