Funny you should say that. Mates of mine who are staunch roosters supporters, one being a minor sponser, says deal already done with Munster at Roosters.

I feel he may think there is unfinished business in Melbourne. He'd love to win a premiership without Cameron Smith to really prove himself as an elite footballer.

If I was Munster or advising him, I'd be signing a 1 year extension at no more than 250K less market value. He will make that money in the next contract.

If the Roosters can squeeze him and then state that letting one or two nuffies go gave them the cap room, that might about do me. Surely the NRL as a whole needs the talent to at least sort of be spread across clubs. They are a blight on this good game.

It's for 2024, so we could lose a few if we were able to sign him. I'd say one would be Brooks, you'd think. I'd pay happy with him + a good pack, which is about all we could afford. With the leftover $$$ filing out the rest of the backline.

Not sure how long he's tied to the Sharks but Nicho Hynes would be a great pickup for us if we didn't, as expected, get Munster. Smart young footballer, can play in the halves or at fullback and an ace goal kicker as well
