Yes the poms did help... dont even go there with that complete f#cking BS .
I suggest you stick to things that you may have a clue about because you will never win on that garbage you made up!
The only thing the poms are good for is to beat in sports! You know it’s true.

Been to the Uk recently? Haha. No wonder some of them want to move here. Fair enough, but they can keep the monarchy freak show.

What’s the monarchy good for?

I reckon Caitlin Moran, a footballer, can say whatever she wants about the Queen. How it can bring the game into disrepute is beyond me.

Some people like yourself might disagree. That’s okay, big deal! Anyway, other people, probably for slightly different reasons agree with her: “The Queen’s a dog”. Australia can do better than Charles and his pedophile brother. Pretty much anyone would be better.

Robert Downey Jr. would be pretty cool. Glen Lazarus would be alright too.
Geeze, we have a deep thinker here everyone…

this BS must end, Unions are there to help workers, and certainly not for good-for-nothing politicians!🤬

You mean the politicians that put forward recommendations for an inflation matching increase to the fair work commission wage decision to help workers, or should they support politicians that had worker wage suppression as their key policy for nearly a decade?

The standard you walk past is the standard that you accept, and by the way, Prince Andrew says hi, as do most of his fellow citizens in Britian gutted by the 4% odd loss in GDP from the bigoted Brexit that you were parroting for.

Terrible isn't it, just like Scott Morrison getting his own $11k wage rise on the same day that he and his government cut penalty rates for workers?

Sadly all major parties supported an increase in their own salaries, while workers were forced to medical treatment and lost their jobs! In both cases, the Unions played politics and did not support their members!
Anyone involved with Epstein's affairs shall be condemned, however, Aus politicians at the same time awarded Clinton's by paying huge amounts into their hush funds. Hard to understand how anyone who wanted the royals to be punished played three monkey's in the case of the Clintons.
The politicians from all major parties, at best closed their eyes while doing their best to please the globalist/Big Pharma! Shame!

Not into the pizza shop paedophile ring or covid conspiracy stuff with those tossers attacking offices, but expect this current Albanese government will give themselves a relative pay cut in the form of repealing most of the $9k odd in legislated tax cuts that they are set to receive.

They cannot at the moment, but I am sure they will table changes to trim or completely get rid of the top portion of them, as soon as there is enough public knowledge and resultant sentiment on the matter.

They won't allow a further structural deficit like the near decade lasting one left by the last of the Howard/Costello tax reforms. Our nation excelled comparatively during the GFC, but it could have been even better if the Rudd government repealed the final round to halt the compounding damage of those legislation changes.

Unions stopped looking after workers interests decades ago. Just jam packed with greedy scum these days.

Not so for the vast majority of worker representatives, though there are bad eggs in all walks of life.

Certainly not in the case of a young protege of mine, that I knocked the rough edges off and trained as an organiser in the early nineties, who is now the CEPU/CWU national president.

As branch secretary, he worked particularly well with CEO Christine Holgate to successfully improve the viability of sections of Australia Post, to the point of really pissing off the coalition that were trying to dismantle and sell it off.

Little doubt that it played a part in the Morrison "she can go" parliament debacle and the taxpayer subsequently paying out for her unfair dismissal.

the unions got crushed in the 80;s then shortly whored any remaining diginaty they had left 2still con paying members to absorb themselves into the system.

The CEPU got done earlier this year for intimidatory tactics to force workers at the Convention Centre up here to join up. They delayed workers start dates and abused them for not joining.
Federal Circuit and Family Court got them though. $50k fine.

I don’t know about these days but corrupt unions been around for ever. Late 80’s I was working 2 jobs, on the night shift we had 2 union reps show up. One was wearing a cap with a dope leaf on it and the other had a t-shirt with “I don’t have a drinking problem, I get drunk and fall over, no problem” and this bloke had his two front teeth missing. They said $2.40/week thanks champ. I said that is more than a schooner and at 2.40/week/man for every member that is 12mil a year, where the hell is that money going? the pot head started telling me that I was the problem with society, so he left with no front teeth. Never been a union member since.
