Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Doesn’t change how much we would be paying for him plus add on moving costs etc we would no doubt cover. I just don’t think we would get the return on investment.

Didn’t say he would be better than most of the rabble we have but in perspective he would cost more than Papa.
Fair enough, I think I’d like to see him and papa in the backrow. I know it’s a hit financially but I’m sick of forwards that can’t cut it.

He has footy smarts. But speed to a degree does help. A good kicking game and not to take so much possession. Opposition defence were reading him pretty easily at the end. He's still our best halfback. But that's a lack of what we got. I hope we sign him too. He's what we need. Wont work at halfback though if we want to make the finals.
I think regardless who is on the halves our main problem was go forward.. No halves would do well here with that we had so adding go forward should be the number 1 focus.

Hasting is a very good 7 IMO and would have no problems if the club extended him at 7 over Brooks etc.. He doesn't need to be quick as he just has footy brains and like a coach out there.
I am hoping we extend Hastings ASAP because if Brooks signs with Knights for 2024 we may as well do a deal with them for an early release. It would be a massive problem keeping him here for 2023
I agree, someone will sign him as a halfback. He's smart between the ears as Gibson used to say.

Farah over in England with the Lebanon team?

Hope he's in the ear of any of the good players with potential.

Brad Morkos, centre from Raiders.
Hanna El Nacher, second rower from Penrith.
Elie El Zakhem, prop from Parra.

Sign a few of the younger lads on cup deals.
