Zane Musgrove has been released from the final two years of his contract, paving the way for his move to St George Illawarra Dragons.

Wests Tigers has agreed to release Zane Musgrove from the final two years of his contract, paving the way for his move to St George Illawarra Dragons.

The 26-year-old joined Wests Tigers from South Sydney in 2020 and played 35 games for the club over three seasons.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe says Musgrove has made a sizeable contribution during his time at the club.

“He’s very well-liked and respected here at Wests Tigers by his teammates," said Pascoe.

"This move is an opportunity that works for us as a club and for Zane." - Justin Pascoe

“We wish Zane all the best with his future and thank him for giving his best effort over the past three years.”

I think it's pretty stupid at this point....
We've lost Tamou, Now Musgrove...

We had blokes like Dias play almost half a season this year....
Tells me we're already light at Prop - We've let 2 go to sign none?

Even if we do get Klemmer, We're still one short than we were - And we were getting pulverised with the ones we had.
Klem is a step up - But we need 3 steps up, Not one.

Seems we have secured Klemmer with this move letting Musgrove go. I would have preferred Leniu but I don’t think he will come to us, more likely to stay at Panthers or go to a top 4 club eg Storm. If we lose Musgrove to gain Klemmer it’s a positive improvement for sure.

Well we could only hope that this is the case. I don't like the fact that we have released players and been made public knowledge but have not knowingly signed anyone. The last thing we want is another Ciraldo circus and get screwed on heresay.
