Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Do we think we're footing some of peacheys freight? What do Panthers get from this swap?
Don’t think so mate.

There were reports that peachy went to the NRL and applied for a reduction in contract to return to panthers. (as this is not normally allowed).

Which is a big win for us if true.

Never saw Peachey influence any game for the good as a Tiger - despite high hopes when he joined.
It also turns out that Wests Tigers have been trying to grab Staines since his junior days at Forbes.
Again high hopes.
There's only opportunity here so it's now up to him.
Yep, I'm liking this move. It wasn't touted by the Tiger's management team and despite the rumours, the deal was done and suggests a better relationship betwixt the Bus Driver and our rabble. In fact, the rabble may be rousers now, given that we got him! Ok OK he may not be a world beater but he's still a kid with speed to burn and there's something simmering at the Club. I loved the Benji promo for the membership drive. This has all the hallmarks of Marketing 101 to not only attract members but also player talent. Changing our image as a stodgy dodgy club. Benji brings Energy ( unlike Reynolds who brought arthritis).

Haha fair enough.

Probably a light business case presented to the NRL let's be honest 🤣🤣🤣

"So I'd like to request a reduction in my contracted valu--"

"Approved"

That just shows the rise of the pamfers in the NRL heirachy as they are now classified with roosters levels of influence

Yes.
think tigers spotted him playing over there or for south Africa.
My cousin was training with him and talking to him one day at training at LO and I was hoping he would introduce me to him but wasn't meant to be.
One of my biggest regrets in life was when I came to Sydney as a kid Pete would often take me into training sessions and I was amongst all those great players of 1969 but had no idea who they were.
We then moved and I stopped going there. ☹️
