I agree and that's what I always say to people - Tedesco became the Origin fullback in his second-last season at Tigers.
 
In regards to Sheens wanting to focus on attack:

There were SEVERAL games over the last few years where our players did not seem to be enjoying themselves. Losing, and getting 'beaten', has that effect.

The last 3 coaches the Tigers ran out were all quoted as focused on improving our defence- Taylor, Cleary & Maguire.

The result is that while we tried to improve the defence, our attack went backwards at an alarming rate.

One thing that throwing the ball around does- it improves the fun factor. Would you rather be in a team that is throwing the ball about? Or in the team with 5 hit ups & a kick?

The Sheens attack orientation might have just as much to do with building morale & enthusiasm as it does 'doing something different'.
 
Just read somewhere that Patrick Carrigan’s management have contacted Brisbane to try get an upgrade of around 100k on his current deal due to his rep rise for both QLD and AUS

if they budge or hesitae - I’d throw the kitchen sink at him….. would look good as our new 13 and is a very good player

He could lead the hip drop tackle sessions at training.

Had a big rap on him prior to what he did to Jackson but have gone off him a bit since.
 
Will be very pleasantly surprised if Leniu comes to us, especially for 2023. Just can’t see it with the other choices he probably has. Also fairly sure he’d prefer to stay at Panthers. 2024 maybe, but IMO very unlikely unfortunately.

Ramsey was the hottest new FB coming through 12 mtns ago . Was looking for release,without succsess . Obviously not happy with the coach or club. Has talent galore, and that does not go away. Most clubs would have him on their radar. A natural FB, and will be a future star,.
