ha saw that got injured stacked on the weight and is now trying out fro the NFL. certainly beats signing for a second division team in England...
Id argue that it was for both reasons ...but the fact they signed with the Storm says a bit as well ...outside Smith ...Cronk ...Slater ......coached by Bellamy compare that to Potter / Taylor ...throw in the WT's politics ...no comparison really ...winning premierships helps your paycheck in the end ....ask Adam Blair lolI completely disagree mate. They left because we didn't value them. Koro is to me heaps better than Tedesco. I think he is on a different level.
We just let him walk.
Didn't we offer the same? For fullback money just remember .....
He signed with Melbourne mid season after he signed with us ......can still remember the arguments about whether he was a good enough defender on the WTF ......if memory serves someone at the helm was on holidays ....again .....Grant Mayer

100% correct. They both left because we didn't rate them. Unbelievable.
What that post shows is the incredible toll that RL takes on your body, at one stage he was close to death...View attachment 2977
Honestly, that sounds terrible but glad we didn't see him.... he is rinsed.
He is too damaged to continue playing.
All the best in retirement.
agreed, we are shopping the wrong winger around, Ken is better than Nof, unless Ken wants to leave after running around broken all year being one our best metre eaters and have people in forums like this blasting him every chance they get, he would be a starting winger in almost all top 8 sides, only other thing is if maybe we can get a swap deal for Dom Young or if there’s been some sort of verbal agreement then I can handle Ken being shopped. One of the WT podcasts suggested last night that Ken Maumalo is being shopped around.
I personally think that's a big mistake. I've always appreciated his efforts, a lot of them on one leg. His runs coming out of our back 20 have been so important, his finishing, and ability in the air are all great assets. If the thought is to replace him with Staines, I feel like it could be a grave mistake.
Unsure of the legitimacy of the claim, but it's not one I think is a good move if true.
It might be his decision... Sheens might be able to get a cushy gig in the ESLOne of the WT podcasts suggested last night that Ken Maumalo is being shopped around.

In the order of must sale:I love Kenny, one of our best players last year. knows how to find the line and played busted countless times, but...
Sheens likes speed. Maumalo doesn't possess any. it makes sense that he's being shopped.
We would need to subsidise Nofo is he left - no-one is taking on his full contract value. Is it really a good idea to be paying yet another player to be playing elsewhere? In the order of must sale:
Nofoaluma,
Seyfarth
Brooks
That was me, no inside info on that one, just something I saw mentioned online. One of the WT podcasts suggested last night that Ken Maumalo is being shopped around.

Big unit these days .. !! Hoping to find big easy $$ in the NFL
The other issue of course is that fast wingers can cover defend as Staines did in the GF. Besides, a strong winger can also be a fast winger just like Koroibete. We need to address the chronic lack of pace in the backline.I love Kenny, one of our best players last year. knows how to find the line and played busted countless times, but...
