Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I come from same road as you and feel same ,When the JV happened I decided to forget past and 100% support Wests Tigers and only Wests Tigers and I feel it should be obvious to those in charge that our image needs some repairs and naming our reserve grade side Wests Tigers will make a statement to the NRL community that we are united and strong
Do you think the likes of the chooks and storm don't look united and strong?

i can see us going for Graham for a year if we panic re getting in another backrower. I dont mind him as a player but if Fafita was cooked Graham isnt too far behind him.

IMO nah let it go.
WT have learned from their past mistakes
Not the bloke on Sheenius' radar anyway
Nearing 32, ailments are nearing.
Sharks don't resign, certainly be offered a permanent off-field role

I just had a quick look at the last few pages are we doing the West vs Balmain again ? Has anyone been drinking ? West and Balmain are gone did they ever play in this competition No ......

They play in the ARL ? Is that correct?
Ok, can anybody verify what we will have next year.

We all know we will have a West Tigers 1st Grade side called West Tigers.

Then from then down its hard to find out,
I have worked out,
" I Think " our reserve grade will be one team only, the West Magpies.

Then, what I classify as Third grade, I have no Idea if its going to be West or West tigers.

Is there anyone on WTF that can clarify what is coming. Next year

I don't disagree with you re reserve grade being Wests Tigers does somewhat promote unity. I don't believe this will actually go on to have any further consequences, be they positive or negative.
I certainly can not understand why you would think it makes any difference to us signing players?
Probably the two most successful feeder systems of recent times (outside of Penrith) are the Sharks with their reserve grade side being Newtown and the Storm with their's being Sunshine Coast.
Could you please elaborate on how and why you believe changing our reserve grade name will result in positive changes?

I would offer Wade Graham a contract if we can get 8 to 10 games out of him for 200K would be worth it origin and premiership winner short kicking game and would help the kids if he plays more then 10 it's a bonus and if not at least it did not cost the earth there is an interview when he speaks about his time at Penrith then going over to the Sharks and a change in additude and training it's a risk but could be worth it

I agree, one year and cheap price and he'd be a good buy. He'd potentially be our 2nd best 2nd rower (depending how Blore returns). I'd play him on other edge across from Papalii. He's still a very capable footballer and his skillset would suit an attacking style of play. He's dealt with injuries but he seems a bit like a Heighnington/Luke Lewis type player who has the smarts and drive to contribute into his mid 30s when it appeared as if they were done. If wrong you lose nothing really by signing him.

I know this would add to our retirement village approach, but I don't believe he has the same past it vibes of recent purchase Tamou. He plays on a good team and his contributions are usually classy. Tamou in comparison looked like a passenger.
