Don't know why we would get Bateman, Frizell & Klemmer - that doesn't make any sense.

Here is the reason , u need backup players in case of injury , can’t just have two backrowers u need 4 of them , it also puts pressure on everyone to preform or play NSW cup

I don't think that's very fair at all....
Easier to move on the likes of Mbye (Even Brooks) When there's only a year to go.

Being stuck with Packer, McQueen, Reynolds, Mbye etc. all at the start of big money deals is a very different mountain to climb.
Blokes like Musgrove - Well, We don't really know what we've sold there yet....

They moved Peach who was on a heap to the Panthers. Musgrove had years left. Gildart wasn’t on the cheap & potentially Brooks.

End of day we can make excuses but the roster management was terrible.

Bateman's regressed since his Canberra days and that shoulder may be an issue but if he can rediscover his Canberra form it'll be a great signing.

Personally would've preferred Frizell, but maybe this fits the budget better.

If we can land Brown and Klemmer too we'll have undergone one of the greatest transformations of a pack the NRL has seen over one offseason.

That's every bit as good of a pack as you'd see on a top 4 side. Obviously we won't make the top 4 as our backs/halves aren't at that level, but we're certainly gonna have a pack capable of holding its own against anyone.

Alot of money as a bench warmer that isn’t a game breaker or impact player which is dumb.

If Brooks goes, I've always thought George Williams did an outstanding job at the Raiders and have always had a high opinion of him. He can bring Jack Welsby with him.

I Wouldnt say no to that but theres only so much you can do in an off season.

The squad needed a complete cleaning out of the swamp.

We also need the new players to come in and perform. I hope you are right and we see a massive improvement but I think it's a bit early to make the call that we've fixed it.

What are you basing this statement on?

People I know who follow the super league have said he hasn't set the world on fire for Wigan the last couple of years.

Mind you he was 2nd rower of the year at Canberra - so just because he may not be that player doesn't mean he can't be a good signing.

He's still young. Give him a year as the top dog in our NSW cup pack and let him become a truly dominant player at that level. Plus he'll still get plenty of games due to injury.
