Hastings is a leader - its so long since we have had someone who tries to make everyone a accountable- so he steps on toes - so what - anyone who remembers that drubbing we got from the wooden spoon winning Bulldogs in 2021 will know how desperately we need a leader to make players accountable- that game still haunts me - we were shameful that day

But how do you fit a player in view by the coach as a 13 and the player views himself as a 7?

A leader doesn't put himself before the team. With the arrival of Koroiseau, Papali'i', Bateman and possibly Klemmer we will be well-served for on-field leaders and also off-field. An article was posted a couple of weeks back confirming Hastings was recruited as a 13.

Good passing game ...pretty solid in D ...was involved in the ineffective tackle on Holmes when JAC got his 5th .....good experience for the young bloke ...did a pretty simple role well in my opinion
