Going of that clip Large is in another galaxy compared to any of those kids, buckets of talent.
#3 (left centre) is Glassie Glassie, not sure of #24.
This is my youngest brother’s age-group and he plays with a lot of these boys, so I know this group quite well.
That’s fair mate, all I do know is that the club will do everything they can to give these kids the best opportunity to succeed now. What I will say is I went to school with his dad, and he was a very dominant athlete at the same age (athletics, rugby league, soccer, even cricket). That was less true when we graduated at 18 years old.
And obviously one of the main factors in converting these young kids is what happens when they all turn 18 and the physical capacity evens out, and they start playing men who know how to defend.
Not taking anything away from the kid, just I've seen so many hyped 15 year olds who can't take that next step; there needs to be a lot of patience with this talent pool. I say that because struggling clubs sometimes have difficulty pacing the grading of their best juniors.
Yeah and they’re showing it, having put a bunch of the Harold matthews squad from this year in the preseason camp with first gradeThat’s fair mate, all I do know is that the club will do everything they can to give these kids the best opportunity to succeed now.
Matt Betsey, Shannon Gallant etc. have wrestled all three of those kids back from other club’s junior pathways in the last few years.
The investment into Pathways is not just a buzzword, they’re serious about it.
Brooklyn Milford from East Campbelltown, good player. The number 9 was a very good player and showed a lot of game knowledge calling players out and telling his forwards where to run. Very good young player. When was this game played as i understand this was only development games not HM or SG Ball standard.
What is Brooklyn's status?? Is he with West's HM?Brooklyn Milford from East Campbelltown, good player.
This was earlier this year at U/15’s level.
Some of these players (Onitoni Large #22, Ali Karnib #4 etc.) will make their Harold Matt’s debuts in 2023.
They’ll play two years at that level (Harold Matt’s is U/17’s).
Yes, he's in the Wests HM squad for next year. What is Brooklyn's status?? Is he with West's HM?
Like all good footballers he has good balance, he's one to watch.22 - when he calls for the ball he gets it and puts his centre into gaps so easily. When he runs he is very hard to stop and the step and running style is very smooth.

Anyone watching this vid, keep an eye out for #22 (five-eighth) Onitoni Large, #4 (fullback) Ali Karnib and #13 (halfback) Alex Isdale.
Some of the best young spine players in the country.
All three of them turn 16 in 2023.
yeah I don have the patience to watch the kids but there is some quality there half, 5/8 fullback look quality. 10 has potential ,but not immediate. big kid playing smaller kids. good work ethic thoughIsdale looks great. Very impressed by his involvement, constant talking and his tenacity. Good speed to.

Matt’s Cup is a very strong comp. No way anyone jumps straight past it.Yeah I dunno if I'd even put Large in Matts. He looks good enough for SG Ball and it'd be better for his development.
