Rubbish. Klemmer is not a 400k max prop.
On the market he would be getting offers 600k+ and deservedly so.
For a team who needs forwards, lost most of our experience and finished last we would be lucky to grab him at 650k if Manly, Roosters and few other teams are hunting him as reported.

Klemmer is top 10 props in the game across all primary and secondary indicators.
He is 28 hitting his prime years and has a good 6yrs to go based on how props form.
He is also an excellent defensive prop 97%+ & plays 60mins+ per game.

Klemmer is the perfect prop we should grab to help foster with Joffa our young forwards over the next 2-3yrs.

U got to be kidding , we have off loaded 14 players and signed two , api would be $400,000 and papa is $650,000 take that money away from all the players we dumped I would say we have heaps

You may be correct, but as Einstein said "doing the same things and expect a different result.." and "Kremmer/Batemen" is us doing the same thing: overpay has beens that no one wants.
I prefer to overpay the players that would make a big change, so we shall ask " what we need to do to buy Haas/J Papalii/jr Paolo or at least J W-H, Fanua-Blake", get out of losers mentality, and start thinking like winners🐅💪

I'm pretty sure I remember it reported he was on $450k per year.

Regardless- even at $700k- he's worth the money.

Unfortunately it's not Fantasy Football. You can only sign players that are, or are made, available. I'm sure any team with Haas & Fisher-Harris up front would do better than anyone else's combinations.

Most media outlets at the time said it was very smart business especially given the $$$ & listed it at $450k-$550k with Papa $600k, we offered him a 3yr deal which is what brought him here as he Panthers only offered him 1yr.

I’m not wedded to the $700k figure, but it’s the only thing I can find when I google it.

Perhaps you might provide your source rather than rubbish mine?

FYI - Zero Tackle gets its news rewriting other “media outlets” articles…the figure likely came from one of the outlets you may rely on for your news. If you click the link on their website, they site the source for the figure they post…in this case, it was the Daily Telegraph that was the source of the $700k contract value.

$700k is unders for Api at any club imo. he's sensational. I'd say there's only 5 topline hookers in the comp. Grant, Robson, Mahoney, Cook and Api. we did very well to land him.
