I doubt Moses will come back to the Tigers. At his age it will be all about putting himself at a club that has a real chance of winning the comp in the next couple of seasons and that is not us. Okay money will be a factor but there will be plenty of that thrown at him.
We certainly need to be identifying a kid in our juniors who plays no7 and getting him plenty of coaching.

You just never know .......but the one thing I saw that most blokes hated more than anything else ...was the blokes who hit on other players wives and GF's ......I know I have my own story of this occurance with a player ...he wouldn't have known me or the fact this girl was my GF at the time ...but if they had roomed us together in the following rep sides ....would have got ugly

Well yeah .....that is my point ... he is pretty good defensively ...but his main job is creating enough points to win games most weeks
It sure is and I wish so much more than $64 wasnt riding on it ?

And I've bagged Woods ...but I tell you what ...you get Woods playing the way when he was 20 and not turning his back to the defence and worrying how many Fantasy points he was averaging every week ......
I still maintain at the age of 20 he was potentially the best young prop I'd seen since Lazarus ....

The fact that people are debating whether Brooks is good enough after 9 years says it all.
Unfortunately in pre-season the part of our brain known as “hopeful yet irrational” continues to think that Brooks might come good and we might make the 8.
When we fail to score points and Brooks has 3 bad games and 1 good game the same thing will happen - everyone will pile into him for 3 weeks and then think he has turned the corner with one good game, and then cycle will repeat.
Hastings was a far superior 7. With Api and Hastings we would’ve been a team capable of 8-12th. (Closer to 8)
With Api and Brooks we will be 13th-17th. (Closer to 16)
This is such disappointing news.
Unless we get Mitch (which I think we’re a 1% chance of) we are going to be a sad club in 2023.

Hopefully Brooks takes his Long Service Leave from March 2023.
Problem he ain't 20 anymore and he isn't the hungry young prop he used to be.

The club has made some good recruitment decisions this off-season. Newcastle will be his fourth NRL club.

You mentioned the blokes leaving us ....how many 6 and 7 's are running around now we'd have back ......hell even Lolohea is starting to look like the Elle MacPherson of the ex WT's halves lol
There is no way on God's green earth the difference between Hastings and Brooks at halfback in an otherwise identical roster is close to eight ladder spots. You could have replaced Cleary with Brooks and the Panthers would still have come top four, and Hastings ain't no Cleary.
Can’t Wighton be signed now? He had a player option for next year which he declined im pretty sure? Not sure he has been resigned.

I am not death riding him, this is not the first time you and others have said this.
I like Brooks, I just can't understand how plenty of others have been moved on in his 9 years here, but he somehow escapes any responsibility for his and the teams poor performances.
I have stated many times, I wish him well and hope he succeeds, but I think it can only happen at another club
