Wests Tigers Centre of Excellence

Opening night of the women's world cup, my daughter plays basketball so decided to bring her along to a few matches in the next week to see what it's like.

Drove past the COE on the way in.
I'll talk to you in another thread, my 7' boy played rep bball and it would be nice to chat later. 👍

The Coe has changerooms for the NRL and NRLW squads. Keeping the demountables will allow the jnrs to have access to high quality change rooms and gym. I'm sure they will use the Coe as well but this increases capacity.

I know nothing about the COE but surely you could design a centre that would also allow for Junior facilities. The surprising thing is that with a brand new building we have juniors using demountables. Surely with a bit of planning and prioritising of it the centre could also house the juniors without needing the demountables? It seems weird to spend so much money and then have temporary structures as part of that plan. But everything Pascoe touches turns to gold, so I might just not see the vision of it.

If our juniors need to earn the right to use this facility, we are completely out of touch , the club should unite all our teams from juniors , lady’s , Mens , we are meant to be one club .
Wests Tigers , how bloody hard is it , this is an issue from the top end of our business, it’s on them to make sure we are one , other wise it’s a waste of time , get up to speed Tigers management , or move on your out of touch

When past and present collide.
Last week WT welcomed the Pratten Park Magpies to the new Centre of Excellence.

The old boys’ network for foundation club. Pratten Park Magpies served to restore friendships, organise reunions, support mates who had fallen on hard times and to research and preserve the Magpies in any way it could.

Well done 👍🏻

Wests Tigers is delighted to announce a new partnership with Zurich Insurance Group, which includes naming rights to the club’s Centre of Excellence, to be known as the Zurich Centre.

Panthers have “nrl only” areas in their facility. Has worked ok for them.

They sold they name, I couldn’t hate that anymore if I tried. Zurich Centre meh. What about Tigers Den or something that has some meaning.
