I wouldn’t worry about him fitting in. At Wigan , he was overjoyed to see an old team mate, Sezer, he raced to give him a hug. Just unfortunate the ref took it the wrong way and sent him off.
I think it would be a mistake to have a merch laden, WT flag waving welcoming committee at the airport if it isn’t official 😂

We need an 80-minute forward. Right now we only got Papali'i. Even Koroisau hasn't played 80 for a while.

Joffa, Twal, Blore, Stefano, Klem, Talau, Seyfarth etc etc are all middle forwards or not ready for 80 minutes yet.

For that reason I don't think Nathan Brown is the answer either. Has to be Bateman or another workhorse type player.

Not sure why people are fretting. It has obviously been done.

Why no press release? Because...the club would be mad to release a 'Bateman commits' FB post / media release when the actual bloke can front cameras in a few days...in a real shirt...in front of the COE...and do interviews with every network.

Tons of marketing opportunities and free press...it is clear why they are waiting. Would be nuts not to...
