I have no idea why people on this forum keep stating comments like this. You don't sign players and tell them they can play with their best buddy.

People were fantasizing we could only sign Klemmer if his mate Woods came with him.

We need to be professional. Can you imagine putting something like this into a players contract ? It's absurd.

I don't have a problem with Brooks being here but he needs to perform to be given anther contract or they need to re-jig his contract so that he gets paid a lot less over a longer term.

that has been a criticism of both Moses and Brown over the last few years.
Moses has become much more of an 80 min player now And his defence has improved a lot as well. He was a speed bump for years. They used to try and hide him. now he is in the line and solid.
Brown has always been good defensively. He problem is more lack of involvement.

I'm a pretty big critic of Brown, but that was a tough ask for him on grand final day. He hadn't played the speed of NRL for months, then gets thrown into a game that's faster then all others against a beast of a side. Very hard to be able to contribute. Bad coaching by Arthur.

Yeah it might help in the short term but his juniors will.move on because there are no opportunities for them. Need 7-8 rep players with good juniors. Only way the club will be consistent yearly.
 
Our forwards are far better,with some young blood coming through, maybe very good . Our 3/4 's are ordinary,and we need more speed outwide. NOW! the spine 6,7,9 and 1 are our big weakness'.
Api at 9 brilliant, and will benefit the forwards and the halves, Brooks at 7, a natural half, quick and tough, has an unreliable kicking game and has not shown the brilliance of the top players in this position. With the side we had , it would have been difficult to shine. Sheens and the new coaching staff would have spent hrs watching last years games, and think he's worth sticking with, besides there are few halves on the market. Doueihi at 5/8 ,bought as a FB , and tried at 6 , a bit slow for the position, has an unreliable kicking game, plus suspect defence. Again not many 5/8's on the market, and he showed some glimpses of form. Laurie. a forum favourite.at fullback , not quite up there as a first gde no 1. Stains the Ferari, yet to play, might be the answer but unknown at this time. THIS IS WHY WE ARE DESPERATE FOR A HALF, EITHER 7 OR 6.
