Undoubtedly i am, but i can honestly say the only music that i can't listen to even for a little amount of time is rap/hip hop.

Not at all mate as i said i like nearly all music.It is interesting you mention my parents but both of my parents enjoyed any music that i played and when i used to drive my mother around when she was in her 80's she always asked me to play "That nice German group" when i was driving (It was Rammstein)
Musical taste is always up to the listener but every teenager and people in their 20s and 30s that i know dislike rap and would rather listen to other styles.Any way as i say it is always up to the listener as to what is worth listening to

subjective. I know a lot of people
that hate rap/hip-hop as well haha. each to their own, I like it all TBH but my preference has always been rap/hip-hop since I was a child (golden era in the 1990's.)

today I can't even defend though..
I don't think there is a genre of music
that is more controversial or has so
many sub-genres/rifts and gaps
in talent as rap & hip-hop music

No reason to apologise as i was not offended in any way.These days i am finding that the music coming out of Japan is as good as anything coming out elsewhere.If you like metal Lovebites are arguably the best metal band in the world these days (live performances) and easy to find on youtube.Wagakki Band and Band Maid are two others worth listening to and neither are metal

Im young and I think its garbage too.
All they do is call each other the "N" word, flash their money, talk about women like they are trash and fantasize about killing people. Awesome!!
