That’s not even mentioning jazz rap, rap/rock performers like Rage against the Machine etc.

To group it all as one genre is naive.

Incredibly.

A lot of the new big name artists are inspired by hip hop.

Post Malone, Ed Sheerhan, even Bieber.
Aerosmith, Guns N Roses and even Robbie Williams before them.

Then there's "hip hop" artists that cross genres.
Guys like Juice world, Lil Peep and Xxxtentaction (rest in peace to all of em)
These guys have elements of rock, grunge and even elements of metal to their sound.

The argument of "all they do is talk about money, cars and women and say the N word" is more redundant than ever.

As I was saying before, a lot of the preceding pages are of one niche sub-genre of rap music.

I have my preferences when it comes to styles of rap music (and music in general) too, I was more objecting to the fact that Jad and yourself were implying that ALL rap music was bad.

It’s like saying all rock/metal music is bad.

No I was commenting with Winston Churchill that a lot of the music posted in this thread was garbage.

Nope.

Like I said before, I thought you were referring to hip-hop/rap as a whole as being unlistenable and was referring to different sub-genres, such as jazz rap and rap rock, as examples of the genre's versatility.

Whether you enjoy the sub-genres that get posted in this thread (a lot of it is Australian drill music) is a different story.
