No musicality involved ?
A producer makes a beat using all types of instruments, sounds and samples.

Then the vocals are performed over it.

A lot of the new big name artists are inspired by hip hop.

Post Malone, Ed Sheerhan, even Bieber.
Aerosmith, Guns N Roses and even Robbie Williams before them.

Then there's "hip hop" artists that cross genres.
Guys like Juice world, Lil Peep and Xxxtentaction (rest in peace to all of em)
These guys have elements of rock, grunge and even elements of metal to their sound.

The argument of "all they do is talk about money, cars and women and say the N word" is more redundant than ever.

I play guitar a lot and I love all sorts of music. I suppose rap isn't my favorite music but you guys made me think of all the rap music I love.

These are more cross over songs.

I remember none of my friends liked rap but I loved Eminem.

No reason to apologise as i was not offended in any way.These days i am finding that the music coming out of Japan is as good as anything coming out elsewhere.If you like metal Lovebites are arguably the best metal band in the world these days (live performances) and easy to find on youtube.Wagakki Band and Band Maid are two others worth listening to and neither are metal
