Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Nobody knows what's going on. Especially Wests Tigers so called informants. There was no sniff of Browns deal.

People are throwing darts and hoping something sticks.
What the hell was motor mouth Lee on about then? He must have had, at least, had some grounds to be optimistic about Moses to say 90% done. Clearly we've made an offer and he listened. There are so many moving parts in and around The Tigers negotiations at the moment.

Please Stop.

Someone on this forum stated this but another person who posted about being at the same event said they didn't even see Lee there.

Lee hasn't said anything publicly about this 90% figure.

There have been basically no leaks at all about Moses.

The way I look at is MM will be an Eel unless something drastic happens.

The Brown deal is a positive one for both Brown and Eels, Mitch no doubt will become a winner in next 2-3yrs as well (if he signs they can adjust his 23 salary as well) if he stays at the Eels.
Perhaps his own cubicle with his name and a star next to it was the clincher.

Lee also says we have a strong roster at the start of every year. He’s not part of the club for his opinions on football.

we had a red hot go but Mitch will stay where he is. The immediate benefit is Parra pay maximum or more dollars which reduces their competitiveness for other players. I hope we do the same thing for Suaali and co.

The positive is it leaves a lot of cash to ensure if any of the kids look like being superstars, we get to keep them.

Realistically with improved forward pack and assuming someone like Feledy or Tupou step up to first grade standard to give us try scoring ability in the backline, we should run 8th to 10th spot.

Personally I hope we do not sign Sam Williams but rather bring on kids like Conti and/or Large and make do with what we have for now.

Brooks, Douehi, Staines & Laurie all playing for long term contracts , whether with us or elsewhere (if we want to keep them , we have the dollars).

Competitive borderline top 8 roster next season, with top 4 long term potential 2-3 year time frame.

You know this as fact or are you just speculating?
Personally i dont think Moses is coming but i have no insight either way.

you're confirming hes staying at eels?

I do work in business, It's more obvious that you don't know your arse from your elbow.

If they weren't prioritising Moses, He'd be signed elsewhere

This is hilarious. You must be trolling.

I have no idea if Moses is signing with us or the Dapto dogs but your business acumen developed from such extensive experience has nothing at all to do with your opinion.

It's your opinion and it's cool. Just don't try and convince me you are a tycoon of business and therefore you know exactly how they operate.

I know from working in a corporate environment for 20 years that the business model changes every 2 months. I worked at a big bank.

You make a lot of valid points. The only sad factor you overlook is that various clubs including the Roosters (especially) and the Eels (likely) have or do cheat the cap.

Be honest with yourself - You really take something someone posted here as gospel?
Please....
Certainly not, and if the poster who reported Lee's words is full of it, I'm glad because it means we're learning to keep contract developments in house.
