Kaito, if you are serious about having discussion about topics like this (I'm not convinced you are) then you really have to get some form of grasp on the actual facts.
There is no such thing as a "police prosecutor", there is a Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) who has nothing to do with the police (which is the whole point). The police (AFP) report to the DPP recommended that the case
not go to trial due to insufficient evidence. The DPP alleges the
police (not the courts) were aligned with the defendant. Makes a pretty significant difference no?
Exclusive: Letter from Shane Drumgold to ACT police chief, obtained under FOI, calls for inquiry into ‘political and police conduct’ during investigation of Brittany Higgins claimss
www.theguardian.com
Yep. Which part of my imaginary argument does this relate to? I havent mentioned Marie Payne or anyone other than Scott morrison & Albanese.
FWIW I think the government should have investigated the whole affair including any cover up by Marise Payne however Albanese prevented this when he made the payout to Higgins in that instead of calling Marise Payne and Cash and staff in for mediation with representation, he prevented it and blocked funding for the representation effectively ending any opportunity for an internal investigation...........
WHICH IS MY WHOLE POINT THAT BOTH SIDES OF PARLIAMENT HAVE CIRCUMVENTED JUDICIAL PROCESS.
Mate, you should actually read my posts. I havent blamed anyone other than parliament. I literally just said in the previous post that by circumventing the judicial process, they have harmed Brittany Higgins and other women.
Because you are virtue signalling on your quixotic crusade against an argument that doesnt exist. You saw the words Brittany Higgins and straight away assumed that someone was implying she is lying and this damsel in distress needs rescuing. No one (especially me) has made this case. I am discussing the parliaments (and media...but its not a media thread) totally irresponsible actions.
