Matamua has featured heavily in our marketing Promotions as well.
I get a sense he will be our starting 13 and the coaching staff expect big things of him. There would be no reason for the club to give him such exposure if they didn't think big things were coming imo.
 
Gee, we have some promising talent, and solid players in the forwards.if they only reach 75% of their potential, we will still have a great pack. and the backs coming through as well,.
I would not have believed this 6 mths ago!

Brooks was there yesterday - training up and down the inside touchline. Might be still a bit injured? Attack was sharp across the 2 groups - the automatic bomb-machine was interesting. End on end and then torpedoes over what seemed to be nearly 60 metres long and 45-50m high - never had those when I played! Not many could get a hand on, let alone catch but understandable.

Only player I couldn’t see was Staines. Not sure why he’s not there.
 
They should do the sand dunes today. Half the team will have a heat stroke. Can't imagine old shifty Sheensy spending time walking around in the heat today either.
 
Since when has Brett Hodgson been back with the coaching team saw him in 1 of the pictures.
 
I’ve been so focused on our upcoming season haven’t really seen much of other clubs, except the Penrith camp which was posted on here.
Just saw The Kennel - Episode 1, Connection on the NRL site.
Interesting how they have approached the multi cultural topic in a pre season camp.
For those who may be “in the know”, all I’ve seen of us is at Concord or CS. Have we undertaken or are we planning to undertake, any offsite camp type activity ?
Not totally necessary but interesting that both Cleary and Ciraldo have embraced it,and last few seasons results speak for themselves.

Not sure if we’ve done one this pre-season, but most clubs do camps at some stage of pre-season.

Sometimes though, the footage is not allowed to be posted.

Example, if they’re doing an army camp with actual military members who’s identity needs to remain largely private, none of the footage can be posted.

Well we are playing our first trial in NZ so I'm guessing they will go over early

Yeah I watched that aswell it really got me thinking are benji and sheens thinking outside the box when it comes to training tactics to toughen up the playing group? Like making them do wresting sessions at 1030 at night after training all day? I have no idea but I’d love to find out

See your point but those camps are run by third party companies not military.
I did several corporate ones in my career aimed at teamwork, communication, trust , process , outcome and leadership.
Just wondered if it might be on the agenda for us.
I know the Storm usually do a military run camp
most pre seasons.
