Penriths Christian Chrictons management saying he will be looking elsewhere for 2024 season
Penrith superstar Stephen Crichton will quit the club at the end of the season after breaking the news to his teammates on Monday.

The Daily Telegraph has learnt that Crichton told his Panthers teammates at training of his plans to move on at season’s end. It is unclear where the NSW and Samoan representative will play next year but Canterbury are in the box seat to land the 22-year-old.

Also something about that on Foxsports.

Looks like we lost the 3 way battle:

Moses => Re-signing with Parra
Crichton => Bulldogs
WT => Plan B

I'll wait until it all comes out but it's looking that way.

You don't think Farnworth is better than our current centres or fullback???

I'd love to sign him, especially in those positions
Sorry. Mistyped. Don't think he is any good as a fullback. Definitely prefer current options.
Would definitely take him at centre.
(Was caught between wouldnt mind and would like him at centre and wrote wouldn't like...)

For me I stick Crighton in the same box as Coates and Cobbo. Great athletes and finishers but they all lack in the effort areas and IMO are and will only be just NRL wingers not fullbacks.
PS I know Coates is not a fullback or wants too

the only thing missing now is losing another one of our halves, this is exactly what some feared heading into the offseason 🙈 on the other hand looks like we still have upgraded our squad tremendously

I think he’ll be starting centre with Naden for Round 1.
He's surely a long way off starting in the NRL. Would be a terrible indictment on our back stocks if a guy who's hasn't played NRL for a couple of years waltzes back into our line-up.

He needs at least a month in NSW Cup up get some match fitness and confidence in his body, working on his defence etc. One more serious injury and his NRL career is over, need to bring him back gently

Let’s be honest…no one on here knows anything! All of these sources, or people in the know are rubbish. For all we know we could be making a play for Benji to make a comeback in the halves?! He has been training!
