Thought I'd share as I know no one in WTF would be desperate enough to follow him on insta... even though I'm bad enough for losing brain cells reading the eels forum.

Sorry mate but that’s just rubbish. You have no clue what he’s doing and neither do I but there is no evidence the meeting is going ahead, is off or was ever on in the first place.

diddly squat though.. I am under the
impression that eels are getting a bit
impatient as well. this reads to me more
like a friendly nudge rather than any
sort of confirmation of his singing.
I could be wrong, just how I read it.

Dylan Brown extended almost 2
months ago now. Doesn't make sense
why he hasn't put pen to paper tbh.
Buzz's throwaway comment is hearsay
based on what he thinks he will do or what
he's been fed by someone at the eels
he thinks he will do, trying to put a
positive spin on things. The reality
is is that he is still unsigned though.
And their have been zero leaks so far.
Someone will have been taken for a
ride at the end of the day. I'm neither
staunchly pro or against his signature

Will be too good for Brooks to move one spot out if Moses comes.
Maybe shift Brooksy to centre or 14th man. 👍

If Moses does come in 2024…2023 will be a shootout for the 6 jersey. Both should be feed quality ball from Api. If there is nothing between them and all stay….Brooks would offer more at 14 as he could fill in at DH when Api needs a spell. Then you dont have to play 2 specialist hookers or reshuffle the halves around.

The club submitted its “final” offer to Mitch Moses this week. 4 year deal outright. Apparently last deal was 3 year + 1 year mutual option.
$5mill over the 4 year period. His management indicated a decision will be made next week.

Rehashing this post from pom from late December to highlight that all the hysteria about tomorrow's 'meeting' is a little over the top. Pom makes these posts and everyone hyperventilates over the gospel and go on and on about what the verdict might be and different sources come back with competing additions to the inside word only for it to all come to nothing.

I know this must be blind rage and jealousy at Pom's great and fearsome influence, but perhaps a little caution and a little less hoohaa about it all would help make this thread slightly less bloated. It sort of has that Godot feel where we're all continually expecting and going back over the expectation that something might actually happen.

Anyway, back at it people...

Club is confident to say the least, manager has asked for a meeting to discuss a couple key points. 4 year deal worth $4.5mil is on the table. @tigerap is right about Friday. Make or break meeting.
