I'm actually surprised the Bulldogs didn't make a play for him, Gus also speaks well of him...

I'd like to see us have a better performing 7, Weather that's him - Who knows....

I can't see him leaving either and think he will get another multi year deal, with a much better forward pack now hopefully he has a break out year.

Sorry, I thought the narrative was that Madge had a plan! We were improving every season on his employment. Certainly on our way to a premiership in the next few seasons. Changing so many players for the better, turning us really into a force not to be messed with!
Oh and that evil Sheens came in took his job, just when he was on the eve to turn the club into a powerhouse. Damn that Sheens, damn him!! That’s the narrative I believe…

What convinced Brooks to stay(and Sheens to support him)in 2023 was a heavily back ended contract worth around a $1mill this year...he will never earn anything like that again in his life
Reckn I cld be miserabe for that!!
Really up to him now to stand and deliver...but no more loyalty BS from either party.Lets retain/release at year end based soley on his performance and contribution and nothing else

Thought I'd share as I know no one in WTF would be desperate enough to follow him on insta... even though I'm bad enough for losing brain cells reading the eels forum.

It’s setup atm for a really telling year for them
both that could work wonders for us or backfire. If they fire we will win a fair few games you would think.

But can’t help with my Wests Tigers hat on where we have both AD and LB fire whilst off contract and both sign with other clubs after MM says no.
