Paul Hauff had a couple of big years... but Broncos only won after they flicked him to oblivion

Played for Queensland & Australia in 1991 - only played 19 first grade games over 5 years after that one break-out season!

Not a fan of lanky loping fullbacks!

Mate he runs nothing like AD sorry, AD can use his hips. Far better jinking running style. Huaff was just a lanky dude.

I agree - Hauff at least had some speed and was also able to be effective on the wing!

AD - not so much....

and his win/loss ratio is...

AD when he was fit was one of our only good players, and Laurie for that matter before he also got injured... people are getting their minds clouded of his ability because of what has been reported in the media. I don't want him to leave, I want him to succeed with us. There is untapped talent lying deep inside of AD.... we're yet to see his best of him imo.

I want him to succeed - but the problem is he believes the press that has pumped us his wheels way beyond his proven ability or effort - and that has also inflated his already healthy EGO!

Needs to pull his head in and start learning his craft as a footballer while getting his body into optimal shape - as he is not a freak athlete who can get by on talent.

Our back 5 would still be close to the worst in the comp.
Agree, we are probably living on a song and a prayer, with some, and again hoping a lot of kids make the grade. We built the forwards first, and did a great job, this year the backs, i expect more buys, and a few out the door.

Both the TAB and Sportbet have the Tigers in the bottom 4 this year.

Making the finals is very unlikely.
We have to be serious, a great forward pack alone, will not get us far. We have done well, but at least 12 mths away from a good side. Most of our backline needs replacing.

Question for the POM or anyone else in the know . My mate who has the same manager as Nathan brown , told me a couple of months ago that he was a done deal to come to the tigers and they were just waiting for pieces to fall into place , is there any news to what happened, did we pull out or is it still going ahead once brown gets over his hamstring problem . Cheers

The pieces did not fall into place.

Eels don't need AD, the have a good 6 in brown.

I want Adam D here at the Tigers
If you are a centre or winger you would see lots of ball playing outside of Moses and Brooks. This is important when you think of the attacking football to be coached by Marshall and Sheens.
