Do we really need a bunker for a trial? I know they’ve got the stupid preseason challenge happening but really?

The bunker is still the worse thing to happen to the game. Hate it

More practice the better chance they get the calls right. Maybe it’s a chance to use new technology and angles as well.

Bunker will be used less frequently
and they'll also be quicker to adjudicate
on a decision this year. Referees and
TMO in union/this year's 6 nations
have been good so far surprisingly

For a trial team that looks basically like our second team it's a pretty good side. Pole on an edge and Stef starting is interesting.

You have to feel for the starting forwards knowing that they will have to play longer minutes than they should.I certainly hope it's a cooler night than it usually is in February even in NZ

Had a quick squiz at the teams across all the trials and there's lots of interest for me in just about all the teams. Lots of our ex players too.
