Because if we have not used our cap balance by the time season begins, ive been told that monies are returned to the NRL.Denis, do you think were negotiating for this season? Because were not and with that in mind i cant understand the anger of Moses taking his time to decide? FYI, We have already spent at least 95% of our cap for this year.
how did seebold do?We might’ve dodged a bullet with Ciraldo
At the moment he’s looking like the next Trent Barrett
Firstly, its by June 30 not when the season starts (actually it may be even later than June 30 now but i think they were wanting to return to June 30). There is a salary floor (95% of cap) as well as a salary cap. As the top 30 is registered, we have to have spent at least that 95% in order to be compliant, otherwise the contracts would not all be registered. We do have the option of upgrading any current contracts with whatever is left of that (up to)5% remaining prior to June 30. But that must be spent on existing players, which you would only do in order to encourage an extension.Because if we have not used our cap balance by the time season begins, ive been told that monies are returned to the NRL.
Was Moses spotted at belmore today???
They’ll front load some players which will free up cap space in following years when the prodigal son returnsBecause if we have not used our cap balance by the time season begins, ive been told that monies are returned to the NRL.
I think Robbie and api have helped Simpkin , and what difference we seen today very little one out running and plenty of ball playingAfter watching Jock play for the Broncos it was a good decision to let him go. Even with a fresh start he's still too timid. He plays like he doesn't really believe he belongs. Wakeham showed that he's a better option as a backup. He has mistakes in him but he plays with confidence and fits Sheens' style.
Robbie has improved Simpkin 100% in attack, but Will Smith showed he's a viable option as Api's backup as well.
The Benji era is looking good.
He's going to be a very good hooker for us under the tutelage of Robbie and Api. We're fortunate to have a hooker so young and yet so experienced. Much of that experience has come at a hard time for WTs so even more invaluable.I think Robbie and api have helped Simpkin , and what difference we seen today very little one out running and plenty of ball playing
His game this week and last week were lightyears apart. This is the first time I have seen him consistently give good service and make the right decisions at the base of the ruck. He has always had potential - if his consistency improves he will be a real asset for us.He's going to be a very good hooker for us under the tutelage of Robbie and Api. Great post, and Simpkins showed he will be a very good player for us, now , and even better with Api's influence in the future. After watching Jock play for the Broncos it was a good decision to let him go. NoMoses is a very good half-back and injuries minimised the Tigers would be a strong chance to finally play finals. BUT is he worth $1.4mill?
would Staines be the logical replacement? If big ken is cooked and we do somehow manage to get him medically retired who do we think comes in or should we bring in to the top 30?
Yeh but he’s already in the top 30 I mean outside of the top 30 who would we bring in to fill our squad?would Staines be the logical replacement?
