The only thing he did wrong was bleat about it. Otherwise he's spot on. Lee and Pascoe are every bit to blame, Pascoe especially since he's been here for seven or eight years now.

Yeah, no one comes out looking good from this story. I have lost total interest in the back room/front office drama to do with this club. I just want to know how the players and coaching staff are getting on… hopefully they’re keeping distance from the folks ‘in charge’With no dog in this fight I can say they are both in the wrong.
Cavanagh for unprofessional carryon in public and amaturish conduct for his position.
Lee though…what an over-reaction and petulant response to criticism, especially criticism of arrogance. How thin skinned is this guy? Wouldn’t want such an emotion driven individual representing me in court.
Most clubs are keen to be part of magic round. Apparently all the clubs were keen so nrl had to pick who does not get to go. Newcastle were told their services are not required.Horseshit. Magic round isn't a compulsory home ground. We put our name up for it to be a home game to grab the cash. We choose to take games to the country and NZ games. Our choice.
Playing home games at 4 grounds in the same city is idiotic.
It's all our choice.
You know it is an away game for half the teams right? It's not a compulsory home game as suggested. Most clubs are keen to be part of magic round. Apparently all the clubs were keen so nrl had to pick who does not get to go. Newcastle were told their services are not required.
You were talking about home games . Cya champ. We have to play there - Regardless of if it's home or away....
It's away, And we need to play there.
Suggesting we have some 'sway' over when it is, And the draw is a fair old stretch...
I'll leave you to it, Hating absolutely everything.
That's the way it looked last week from the footage of the box.I been thinking on this, And from what I've seen....
Sheens as Coach is nothing but a Front...
Benji and Robbie are coaching the team.
Sheens is just an assistant and mouthpeice for them for a few years....
A media distraction of sorts.
Sorry champ, but at the opening for the COE, that’s just a wankers option. Grandstanding at its finest! If u have something u need to talk about book a meeting with him, it’s not hard. Sounds to me like a small fish In a large bowl looking for some spotlight. Then leaking it to the press says everything about him. I think we are on the up, and this clown and this drama a week before the season kicks off, makes us look like a basket case. Exactly what he accused Pascoe off. Go figureLove how all the criticism is being made by people who have no idea of the setup of WSDRLFC. Cavanagh has probably gone about it the wrong way but he is only trying to show the total arrogance of those running WT. He suggested to Pascoe and Hagi that they should be more accountable for the mess that is WT. And the arrogant Chairman of WT takes offence and wants him hung and quartered and demands Wests Ashfield take action. Hence the disciplinary hearing. Wests Ashfield didn't have the guts to tell Hagipantelis to take a hike. Hagipantelis has no authority to tell Wests Ashfield what they should do with an elected member of WSDRLFC. The whole thing really supports Cavanagh's assertion of the arrogance of the clowns in charge of WT.
Nah, their all drunk pokie people.
@Pascoes_barber - he is definitely the chairman because he puts a tonne of money in.
Really - i see it as showing Hagipantellis as the arrogant hypocrite that he is - he has no authority whatsoever to tell Wests what they should do with their chairman yet he bags Cavanagh for having no right to comment on the poor management of WT.
Gotta be better than egg headJimmy Smith that'll do me.
Yep. A quiet phone call or two along the lines of 'let's not have this Cavanagh bloke running his mouth any further at the corporate functions (that he will no longer be invited to) OK?'The common folk?
Mate I’ve been corporate earlier in my career. There nothing more common than those who park themselves on boards.
His response was embarrassing. You use corporate speak without the emotion. It’s the professional way to get your view out there, leaving little manoeuvring for the other party to attain the upper hand…especially if there is a chance the “common folk” may intercept it.
And he gets an awful lot of advertising for his $. It’s not a handout.I'll give Lee one thing, the bloke has tipped in a lot of his own personal cash.
A bloke who's "power" comes from not his own money sourced from poker machines, obviously has no idea about how to generate money through sponsors. Deadset poor form, even if he does have a valid point.
It was only last year, the verbose grandstanding about critical comments made by an equally inconsequential podcaster (apologies Rob if you're reading this ), right? Seems very thin-skinned, quick to hurt feelings and adept at leveraging the media, so I'm not sure we can be that certain who leaked what to the media in this instance.
So a question: who does this continuous media exposure benefit? Only one person - and certainly not the club.
Bozo and his mate gadget. Have no idea they are shit 😂😂How about this gem, when the complaint is they don't accept any criticism:
"What is most galling is the arrogant presumption of Mr Cavanagh that he is in any position to level criticism of the Wests Tigers"
My dog, who is not exactly an expert in rugby league, is in a position to criticise Wests Tigers.
Haha. It’s always a home game for us. Another one we give up and our competitors don’t. You just don’t get it. $ over wins.We have to play there - Regardless of if it's home or away....
It's away, And we need to play there.
Suggesting we have some 'sway' over when it is, And the draw is a fair old stretch...

Show us the financial reports. WA tipped in a mill $ last year, we have a vacant sponsorship spot on our back, memberships are down.Like him or hate him, without Pascoe
we could have been packed and shipped
off to Perth by now. He's good at
business, that's how he's survived
for so long. Name call all you want but
we've made profits for the a big chunk
of the 11 years we haven't made finals
