Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

It was an 8 year contract, and he has been in their top 2 players every year of that deal
Yeah I was thinking of the swans/buddy deal cheers for correction. I place both those deals in the same category.

Obviously cherry played awesome last night and I guess the expectation is he performs like that more often than not.

I honestly think Manly have underperformed more often than not the last few seasons if you compare their squads agains tigers. So if the argument is that you need a million dollar half back to make the use of your squad then cherry hasn’t lived up to his contract.

I would like to officially congratulate:
Api, Klem, Ice, Charlie on their Tiger debut. As predicted, all performed like seasoned Tigers veterans. Our ability to make good players become terrible is our speciality.
Ice showed some real Adam Blair.
Api had moments of sheer Matt Balin.
Klem ball played like Russell Packer
Charlie showed the composure of Darren Clarke.

I'm officially on the Dolphins bandwagon.

A winger with the frame of a prop forward and the skill of a fullback.

Johnson’s frame and power has made him a massive threat this season in the Andrew Johns Cup, crossing for four tries in four games for the Tigers

COULD HE BE THE NEXT TUAKI ??

Lol

Klemmer ran 193m, 72 post contacts 34 tackles 0 missed

Papi 160m 53 post contact 26 tackles 1 missed

Api wasn’t at his best but he came on and busted himself trying up the linespeed and enthusiasm when we were obviously going backwards.

Stains was a victim of us playing sideways benji ball most of the match.

Classic tigers performance but disagree that our new recruits were the problem.

Yeah, I get the jokes but seriously we were not that bad and cannot complete at a lower rate.

100% correct

We were to sideways and didnt play the simple Power Game that was need in round 1.

Effort was there, just a few costly lapses in judgement and dropped balls

True, the problem with the dropped balls though were most of them were just simple without any pressure on the receiver. The guys really need to work on their ability to focus and maintain composure and attention under fatigue. Hopefully it will get better as they get fitter, I'm sure it will, but it was a problem all last year simple dropped ball under fatigue.
