My wife and I purchased Swans memberships this year. I can’t wait to go and watch a football team that tries every game, whether they win or lose. I really doubt I’ll see a WT game this year now.

What we all need to remember is this was against a bottom 4 team and I am very concerned once we play the Roosters, panthers, Souths etc.. They don't take the foot off the pedal.

Today's opp is about as bad as we will face...and without their best player...and down their entire bench...and played a man short for 25 mins.

It was an unlosable game.

Yet we lost.

Lol - so you can"t name another team that plays in their away jersey at a home game - this is the problem - all this crap about culture and heritage . Culture starts at the top and this club but as usual this club trie to put on a persona where all the fans are a winner. They need to grow some balls and get 1 home ground and start building a culture from the top.

That is the problem.. they keep getting picked .. it’s the. Hooker, the other half , the passes from dummy half , the 5/8 is too dominant , he is not dominant !!! FFS out halfback does not talk, or organise , or support the ball carrier .. he runs sideways, throws terrible passes to the wrong support player, puts in ineffectual kicks and his 5/8 is a poser that wants all the recognition without doing a damn thing to earn it !!

It's always someone else, never Brooks. I've heard it all.

1. It's the coach not playing attacking footy and unleashing Brooksy (Maguire, Taylor, etc all gone)
2. The dummy half is not giving him service (Liddle, Simpkin, Farah, Mbye etc all gone)
3. Dominant half or other half partner not helping him out (Mbye, Marshall, Moses, Doueihi, etc)
4. Forward pack not laying the platform for him (Countless players come and gone in the pack)

How many more excuses to facilitate Brooks? And I'm going to get replies saying he wasn't the worst player in the team today. I don't care. He's been one of our worst for 10 years and makes other people around him worse.

Why single out Brooks? He was rubbish today in a team full of crap. And he's been rubbish for 10 years. How long is this going to go on? How can you keep excusing him after 10 years. He's been the halfback for the worst team in the NRL for the past 10 years and yet people like you continue to back him even though he's proven time and time again he hasn't got it. The excuse this season was that he's never had the forward pack to lay the platform for him. WELL NOW HE HAS. The forward pack for the past two games have won the ruck both times and gotten us excellent field position and yet our attack simply can't execute in the final 20. WHY IS THAT YOU WONDER? BECAUSE OUR HALFBACK, THE MAIN PLAYMAKER IN OUR TEAM, CAN'T DO JACK SHIT

I'm not sure where you start trying to dissect this performance. We were certainly able to make ground up the middle at times, but our attack inside the 20 and some of the defensive reads were disgusting.

We don't have any points in what we are calling "attack". Although Staines showed a bit of spark in a panicked finish.

I expect we will persist with the current 6 and 7 but we need to do some work on our attack. It can't all be no structure, no depth off the cuff shit. We need to have some shape and runners hitting it up and only playing ad lib footy once we have the defence in disarray.

Time to take a breath and see what next week brings.
