Rd 3. What's acceptable?

Ok, how about peer pressure?
What if you’re the only person in the team who says no, don’t make me captain?
IDK, all I do know is he was asked a few times before he got here and he said no not me.
You say he’s disinterested and I’m suggesting that could be a reason for him to appear that way?
I thought Doueihi would be an obvious choice but not if the club is planning on moving him on?
Douhei just re signed for 24, doesn’t look like we’re moving him along.

Simple. A must win game.
Play ugly, I don’t care, do whatever it takes to get those 2 points !!!’
Are they capable of that?
Not according to the last 2 games?
I didn’t see any desperation to cross the line. We have scored less tries (4) than any other team against relatively weak opposition at our home ground. The ref couldn’t do any more for us either. Gosh, Dragons and Manly have scored more times and played half as many games.
They seem more focussed on the process (passing etc) than scoring tries.

To me it appears none of them care. I guess we are down on confidence and that is not helping our situation at all
Maybe if we can just jag a win this weekend that will lift the spirts of us all, and we can stop being critical, and it may shut the media up as well, they also just continued their negative chatter from last season- we need to win a match
G'day tigeress: You may well be correct, but if the players are 'down on confidence' this early in the season there must be something seriously wrong going on behind the scenes.

He has been so so bad but at the same time he is probably the guy most likely to make a bust. That contract gives him time to either prove he can play in the halves or find another position.

I looked at Kepaoa before the game and he looked genuinely worried. I think our team has lost so much that some of them are really scarred. They don’t know how to win. My first though was, smile lad you gotta enjoy the competition.
You gotta be a true blue black and gold supporter BAGNF05 to pay your hard earned $$$ to go to the game when it was on TV for free.

Well last week we had 10 more sets ,won penalty count 10-4 .
They lost their "star "in first 2mins and had send-off and we scored 2 tries and the 79 min one was a bit dubious but I'll take it
Doubt we are going to get that much ball again but I will settle for 5 or 6 tries whatever the result

I am not sure the effort is really there as some are posting. Last week against an opposition who had every right to lose, we had only one player in the top 6 for run metres.
I don’t remember seeing any true 110% “effort on effort” type plays from us, or guys desperate to dive on a ball or chase a kick, or support a player, or rally in D to throw their opposite over the sideline etc.
Our guys did not run hard enough nor did they tackle hard enough. They didn’t play the ball fast enough or push forward in attack nearly enough.
That is the absolute basic stuff an NRL side needs to do to win and we are not doing it.
The disappointing thing is that this is so obvious but they still don’t fix it. You have to ask yourself why?

I think as long as the players can go to an ATM and withdraw their pay they've had a win. All good. Problem solved!
I know, sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, but Wests Tigers are the lowest form of NRL team and they have lowered my wit to its present state.
Win.
