..

The Bulldogs have a few lesser known forwards who are workers more than anything else, with Kikau and Faitala-mariner giving them some x-factor. Their halfback is much maligned but solid enough. Their outside backs are their strength.

On a hot day the gas tank runs out early if you don’t play smart. The team who completes highest, chases kicks hardest and stays in the arm wrestle longest will be in good stead. It will be obvious in the first few sets which team is more hungry because their line will be moving faster and they will win the ruck. If you give Kikau time and space today it’s curtains.

A guy like Bateman needs to be the Tigers best today, we need him and Koroisau to inspire the younger Tigers team to play tough, uncompromising football. Out of character for us.

It’s hard to see a Tigers win as we traditionally have a soft underbelly but hopefully they are stung by recent criticism. If they are up in the face of Flanagan and co early maybe we shock the Bulldogs if they are a little off.

Tip: Bulldogs 28-10
I’d like to see our guys running hard into gaps. The will be gaps open up for our right side around Alomoti who has been a little slow to react.

Kick to the corners, gas out the big men and run a muck later in the game when everyone’s tired.
I like this game plan, but we need to back our defense and our ability to kick to the corners...

From the first 2 games we've had the majority of the ball but getting gassed, by my observation anyway.
You'd expect the defensive side to get gassed but we must be wasting energy in attack or we are not as fit as Titans and knights.
Either way doesn't bode well.

Just need to do what we should have done last week, straight through the middle working over the ruck, then late in the half's at the ruck get the little guys running inside lines toward the tiring forwards to cut right through them.

get our big blokes running at Pezet get him tackling and in defence put him on his backside and get him to make decisions under pressure, he will fold.
That should put some pressure on hopefully and underdone Munster.

As for us just hold the ball get the completion up to 80% 85%
Hope we contest the high ball and Wakeham steers the ship and let Brooks just play eyes up footy at 6 out wide.
Our forwards shoukd get over the top of storm tonight
