OFFICIAL Pathways - KOE General Discussion

In the offseason I started a thread detailing the lack of depth in the top 30.
It’s far worse than we discussed at the time.
Our Flegg boys are pathetic and Reggie’s are hopeless.
At full strength, our first grade team is ordinary. We cop a bad injury run and it’ll be 50 + against every weekend.
We have not recruited for ANY grade other than NRL.

If only Hill was 10 kg heavier. But that frame doesn’t look like there is any room for fat or muscle.
Yeah that's his issue, if he can bulk up into a Oates type he'll have a good career. A beanpole isn't likely to succeed, given his knee injuries you'd have hoped if he could have bulked up upper body he would have

I think he meant Kade the halfback?

Bula runs the ball better, but is very raw, needs to increase his energy levels and cut out the errors, but you won’t see many young players run the ball any better than him.
Only watched him first time today and he didn’t get much opportunity. Does look raw. Their FB was very good in a much better side

He’d only ever make first grade at the worst tigers

Career reserve grader
Warriors and Melbourne have tried signing him for this season, so obviously there are other clubs who see value in him.
They played him lock today, it’s not his position.
In a badly beaten side you can clearly see Bula is a talent, just very raw at the moment.
Tumeth continues to show glimpses of class, but like Bula he too is still very young and raw.
Janes continues to show he will run the ball hard with every carry.
Mansfield didn’t get to show much in his first game for a long while, but he has the perfect physique for the modern day player, plenty of hope for him moving forward.

James looked strong in the heat. I thought Boyland ran hard but never seen him play before
