LIVE GAME Round 3 vs. Bulldogs

It sucks to lose and we desperately need a win but there were some positives out there.

1. Bateman:- I considered this a really risky signing but he was great.
2. Api: just trying his backside off.
3. Klemmer:- freaken awesome.
5. Wakeham:- added some skill in the middle of the park.
4. Brooks running game around the middle of the park when the team opened up. He has some real positives to his game at times. He just isn't a ball playing or organizing halfback. He is an eyes run first player.
5. Staines:- he puts in.
7. Pole:- he has an impact.
8. Twal:- defensively he is pretty good.
9. Nadan:- he has some speed and he goes hard.

If we start with that team we finished with on the field we will be ok. Wakeham was great. I thought Staines was safe at fullback. Brooks seemed to spark when Wakeham was on. Just Douhei. I don’t know where he fits in. Thought we neutralised Kikau well. Things are on the up. Atleast we finally crossed the stripe 3 times in 4 minutes.

Noffa cannot be in our first grade team. Piss him off.

Unfortunately Sheens spoke highly of him pre game and maintained he will come good and go on a run.

Its coach ego thing thinking he can fix him.

Get ready for Brooks in 7 for a while yet.

It’s scary that the ex bulldogs 4th best half , looked like cooper Cronk compared to brooks and doueihi

Exactly. I don't care how much we are paying Brooks. He just isn't a game organizing or good ball playing half. Just pick him in his best position or drop him.

Hard so close after a game to pick.

I was hugely critical of signing Wakeham but that's 3 very good displays in a row and a solid display in the Canberra trial, so he has proved me wrong quite badly so far. I'd be rewarding him with the 7 jumper.

I would also throw Tupou at 1. I know he is quiet, but we are crying out for someone who moves like him at 1. Pure footballer.

I guess Brooks plays 6. But gee his passing is so bad.

So maybe

2.Staines
3.AJ
4.Naden
5.Toa
6.Brooks
7.Wakeham
